About
‘Reiki’ is a Japanese noun that refers to the original spiritual practice Mikao Usui founded.
It means Universal Life Force Energy. I analyze the deeper meaning at the classes.
It is not a religion
It is not a belief system
It is not smth only for a few talent people
It does not require material objects
It is a connection to the “universal Source of energy
Being an actual piece of ‘the source’ it is no surprise that people through reiki, gently replace conflict with tranquility and bring the healing of balance and harmony to all areas in need in mind, body and spirit.
“Usui Reiki Ryoho” (Ryoho is translated as healing method) is the name given to the original spiritual practice Mikao Usui founded in 1922. It is a spiritual practice in which the practitioner learns to allow Reiki to flow to atoms in need, healing mind, body and spirit together.
Unlike scientific medicine it is not broken down into people reiki and animal reiki etc; practitioners who have had their pathway opened by a qualified reiki teacher and spent hours in classes and hours practicing can allow universal vibrations of love and harmony to flow to all form of life, and events at any time and in any place.
This healing method brings balance and harmony to our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. These are all parts of the whole life and the spiritual practice Mikao Usui founded, heals the whole life together. When all parts of the whole are healing together, wellbeing naturally happens.
There are no limits to the healing.
In Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai it is written: “First heal the soul, and then heal the body” “Make the whole human being healthy.” Additionally, it is written: “Promote happiness for yourself and others” (Seek happiness for all).
From the time he started teaching, he already instructed the way to change one’s way of life, and he did not make the treatment of disease the primary goal of Usui Reiki Ryoho.
How I met Reiki and became a teacher
Reiki first came to Greece in the beginning of the 1990’s. I heard about it for the first time in 1994 and I read a book in German, since no book about reiki had been published in the Greek language yet. For the next few years I received some healing sessions from some reiki students.
When I started preparing myself to become a mother, I began looking for a source of help and strength which I could always have with me.
That’s how I got the first reiki grade when I was 7 months pregnant with my son.
This happened in 1997.
Three years later, in 2000, and after my teacher Anna Maria Kritchley (Kosha) came back to Greece after a long time abroad, I received the second reiki grade.
One year later, in 2001, without having thought about going for the next grade, my teacher called me three times and told me that she had seen, with the eyes of her soul, my hands turning gold. For her, that meant I was ready to receive the third grade and apart from being a healer I could also become a teacher. She told me that being a master, would be very useful for the events that were to happen in my life (she was so right!). Thus, I was initiated to the teacher’s grade.
In 2004 I was also taught the original Japanese reiki techniques by Frank Arjava Petter, and in 2007 Arjava taught me 1st and 2nd degree of Jikiden reiki (directly Japanese reiki of Chiyoko and Tadao Yamaguchi).
Up to today (July 2018) that I am writing these texts for my new site, I have taught reiki to hundreds of adult students from several religions and countries and tens of children as well. I have also taught reiki for children to tens of reiki masters.

I teach a combination of both main Reiki lineages, the Western and the Japanese traditions.
I believe that only the two combined can properly reveal the full depth of the Usui System of Reiki.
I`m still going on the study of the system of reiki and I strive to teach the most close to roots and historically accurate Reiki possible.

These healing sessions are relaxing, revitalizing and rejuvenating as universal healing energy flows to spirit, mind, emotion and body at the same time.
Lying comfortably on a therapy couch, the client remains fully clothed during the treatment. (the only thing you remove is your shoes and outside jacket)
Receiving a treatment is normally a deeply relaxing experience, balancing and harmonizing body and mind, giving comfort and peace.
Everything that is happening within your mind, body, and spirit requires energy. The second characteristic of all ecosystems is that they require energy.
ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) molecules contain the right amount of energy to do a specific needed job and can be recharged many times before recycled. Reiki is one of ways in which ATP molecules can be recharged.
At the same time, the well being you experience is more than just physical.
During a session, brain waves slow down, balance flows to those areas in need, and your mind becomes clearer. In that calm state you view life differently. Tension headaches often vanish as your fight of response is put on stand-by.
Clients say how grounded and clear-headed they feel following a session, yet energetic.
Your awareness in such areas as sight, sound, smell, and taste is heightened.
Congestion in the head and chest is often relieved and it helps to drain both sinuses and ears.
A new mother can renew her vitality and experience a calming sensation.
During pregnancy, universal balance and harmony flows to both mother and baby.
Many common headaches vanish during a session.
Personal energy is replenished creating a renewed vigor for life.
Your immune system strengthens allowing greater ease in fighting.
Chronic pain often is relieved for two to four days following a session. Regular sessions help to cut down on needed pain medication.
Usui Reiki speeds the healing of both physical and emotional traumas
Universal vibrations of love and harmony flow and shines outward through all your levels, including your energy field (aura).
Usually at the end I hear “I feel so relaxed, yet full of energy”
The number of sessions required to feel your best depends upon how long an injury or illness has been manifesting and how the wisdom of your body will use the transmitting energy. Broken bones, sprains, frozen shoulders, and more heal faster and better than expected; your need for pain medication reduces or vanished. Some illnesses, injuries, and traumas require more than one session, but the decision for more sessions is in your hands.
Things as chronic pain can require multiple sessions, which is why I offer packages and keep my sessions affordable.
People often schedule weekly or monthly healing sessions to be able to take a peaceful brake from a demnading way of life and to maintain their weel-being, which leads to happiness. Happier people are usually more sociable, productive, energetic, more likely to be in satisfying relationships and generally live longer.

Learning reiki
Learning reiki from a qualified reiki master teacher, is one of the most important things you can do for you and others.
I break down the hours required for each level into multiple days/classes, so that you obtain the full benefits without being overwhelmed.
I am available for questions as needed between classes and after you have completed any level.
I hold 4 extra free of charge Koryukai (gatherings) per year.
The number of Japanese exercises and techniques in each level require hours of instruction and practice.
Each level (except the Feast of Reiki- reiki for kids) requires at least 16 hours, and a detailed manual for that level.
Learning Usui reiki ryoho is a blissful journey and how far you travel is your choice.
Each level is honorable.
I restrict class size so that each student can have all my attention, ask questions and learn as best for them.
When the student is ready the teacher will be there, so I am willing to schedule classes for days and times that are convenient for you and to give private classes.
I am willing to travel for teaching to a group of people. The size of the group depends upon the distance of travel; contact me for more details.
1st degree
(4 days, about 18 hours)
Beginning Shoden (1st reiki degree) you are guided to improve the quality of your life through resonating with the piece of universal energy that is the vibrations of unconditional love and harmony.
Empowerments (attunements) are just the beginning.
Through classes and practising on yourself, other people and animals, peace, tranquility and joy become your internal GPS to improving the quality life.
You are guided to feel/know “Ki”, the life force energy.

In a «fastfood» era, my pleasure is to spread the teaching-experience of Reiki so as to enable students to understand and deepen this while absorbing at every cell attunements with energy. The first degree is completed with more practical training sessions if it is possible.
Students can attend to a free repetition of the 1st degree whenever they wish and can participate at no extra cost in practical training sessions and further learning and understanding of the degree.
Students who have already attended a 1st degree of another teacher and wish to move on to the second level with me can choose either to have a whole day class before second degree (I ask an extra amount for this) or, as many of them find it most beneficial, to participate in the four days of 1st degree with 50% discount.
Reiki master teachers wishing to attend the first degree, enriching their own experience with the experience of another teacher, attend the first degree after personal contact with me.
2nd degree
(5 days, about 20 hours)

3d degree – Reiki Master Course
When you have gotten enough practice of reiki 1 and 2, and wish to go further, you can choose:
a) to receive the attunement of reiki master symbol for your personal spiritual development
b) to go even further and get the teaching course. That means to be a reiki teacher. You learn how to organize a class and teach reiki, as well as how to give Reiki 1, 2 and Master degree attunements. This course includes teaching simulations of all parts of reiki 1 and 2, meditations, deepening into your spiritual path, advanced reiki techniques, the ethical code and reiki masters ethos as well.
